I will admit that I don't pretend to understand everything about the banking collapses but I do hear that People's Bank has been able to withstand most of the troubles.

Well today it took me 20 minutes for one of the ladies at the branch on the Post Road to find the right number for me to use to talk to someone about getting a second copy of my end of the year mortgage info. that I needed for my taxes.  The woman at the branch was very nice and was almost as frustrated as I was!  If it is a People's mortgage shouldn't the process to talk to someone about it be easy enough to figure out at least for the people who work in the branches!!   Yell

Hey STP that reminds me of a few gripes I have with the banks. The one that bugs me the most is how "dumb" the ATMs are.

For years and years, I've taken $80 cash every two weeks from the ATM. That's my walking around money. So why is it that the "Quick Cash" options are $20, $40, $60, $100 and $200? Why don't they know after all these years, I never select one of those options? And why do I have to put 2 zeros after the decimal point when I withdraw cash from an ATM? I've never seen an ATM dispense coins?

Wow! That felt good!
