I took a trip back to my youth today and headed over to Sturges Park to show my daughter a real sledding hill. Naturally, it seems smaller, and the only things that have changed are the No Parking signs on Browns Lane (boo!) and the big sign “Sled at your own risk”

On Saturday February 20th, the Fairfield Public Library will be holding a benefit to support the Library’s Soundwave’s Concert Series and the One Town, One Book program. The “Romance in the Stacks” benefit will feature a performance by The Lions Gate Trio and a silent auction featuring fine wine, collectible books and original artwork.
