Have you noticed all the new restaurants popping up around town? Check out what we thought of our experience at Bodega.
Our server, Molly had extensive knowledge of the menu and suggested we start with chip, salsa & guacamole. The guac & salsa were great but the chips not so much. They were a bit oily and reminded us of the noodles you get in a chinese restaurant. All around not so bad because chips are very fattening.
Molly also recommended the brussel sprouts which were the best we’ve ever had. They are fried and then glazed with a sweet pineapple sauce. You have got to try these brussel sprouts!

We had a selection of tacos, including fish & meat but not chicken, most prepared in soft toritillas and served family style. They all got thumbs up with the exception of the Americano, a ground ground beef version which did not live up to our expectations.
The Baha and the Gambas are delicious and are our favorites. You can also get any taco on a chopped salad with the chips on the side. The Hangar steak version of this salad was very flavorful and also gets a thumbs up.
One of the downsides was that they only offered one dessert a choco flan. It tasted only ok and it is not all that appealing to kids.
All around we had a great experience and are looking forward to going back. We anticipate that they will have to move to a bigger location sooner rather than later. See our ratings below.
