Real Estate, Hopes and Dreams
Writing is a bit like going to the gym. You get into the habit of it. Then, something can happen, from time to time, and you fall out of the habit. Some time passes. You wonder why you’re not feeling like yourself. Maybe your moods are swinging a bit more or maybe you’re a bit more irritable. You feel like something is missing, and then you figure it out. Something has been missing that has added value to your life. I feel this way when I stop excercising on a regular basis, and I realized I feel this way when I get away from writing.
It’s understandable. Life intervenes sometimes, after all. For me, life has been intervening with my business, which is selling homes here in Fairfield and the surrounding areas. My phone has been beginning to ring again and more often. The tempo of the business seems to be picking up. All of this has been good, but it has taken me away from this and I haven’t been posting here, and I realize that it’s something that I very much enjoy doing.
It has been a while since I’ve posted here, but I’m back. I like to write because I see it as an opportunity to share my observations on a very important part of our lives here; the homes that we live in, in the neighborhoods that we live in, in a town that we love to live in. I like to share information that I think is useful and hope that it adds value and makes one person’s life just a bit easier. Finally, I write as much for me. I’m a man of many sayings. One of my sayings is ‘we’re all trying to figure things out.’ When I write here and when I share my thoughts, I’m trying to figure things out just like the rest of us.
So this is the first post after a while. And like getting back to the gym after taking a break, I’m going to take it a bit easy.
Oh, and don’t worry. I’ll be getting back to that top ten list in a day or so.
