Fairfield Board of Education Candidates Forum is scheduled for Monday.

On Monday October 5, 2009 the Fairfield PTA Council will be hosting a Board of Education Candidates Forum. The forum will be held in the Roger Ludlowe Middle School Auditorium starting at 8:15 pm . Doors will open at 8:00 pm . Scheduled to participate are Democrat Josh Albin and Republican Paul Fattibene for the 2 year term and Democrats Leonora Campbell, Perry Liu, Jennifer Maxon and Republicans Pam Iacono and Tim Kerry for the 4 year term.
This year Fairfielders will be asked to vote for four Board of Ed Candidates, three 4-year terms and one 2-year term due to a vacancy that occurred on the Board earlier this year. All interested parties are invited to come and listen.
The format for the evening will start with basic introductions by the candidates and a statement of their educational vision and plans should they be elected to the Board. This will be followed by a question and answer period moderated by PTA Council President, Charlotte Leslie and Mary Hogue, PTA Council President-Elect. Due to time constraints, any attendee wishing to have a question asked must submit it in advance for consideration. All questions will be screened for appropriateness and similarity of theme.
