Photography Lecture at Fairfield Museum: “Evolution”

Come to the Fairfield Museum on Thursday, April 30 at 7pm join internationally acclaimed photographer Stephen Wilkes, who will share a selection of his personal work, including his Ellis Island collection and most recent China series. His talk will review the evolution of his fine arts career. Stephen’s photographs have been exhibited in galleries and museums across the nation and featured in the New York Times Magazine, Life, Time, Parade, London Sunday Times, and Travel + Leisure. His photographs can be found on permanent collection at The George Eastman House Intl. Museum of Photography & Film, Library of Congress, Dow Jones Collection, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and The Jewish Museum, New York. His most recent monograph, Ellis Island: Ghosts of Freedom was named as one of the 5 Best Photography Books by Time Magazine. Lecture fee: museum members; $5, non-members; $7.
