On Wednesday, March 4th 2009, the Fairfield Rotary Club held it’s annual Celebrity at Barone Campus Center at Fairfield University. This year’s keynote speaker was New York Times Technology Columnist David Pogue.
Pogue entertained the 340 attendees with his unique sense of humor and his vaudeville-like songs about the technology industry.
The luncheon raises money for Rotary-supported activities such as The Gift of Life, Polio Plus, The Follies, local grants, dictionaries for 3rd-graders, student scholarships, Scrubby Bear, and more.
