Since my job search began, I’ve been hitting as many seminars and networking events as possible. One of the better events, actually an entire series, is being hosted by the Fairfield Public Library at the downtown branch.
There are over a dozen workshops, from writing a resume to how to search online for your perfect job, and many more. The workshops are led by local experts in the employment business such as Chris Russell from FairfieldCountyJobs.com, Dave Opton founder of ExecuNet and representatives from the CT Dept of Labor.
